@ the Junction Again
I had lost count on how many times i had gone for the interviews on the same kind of job - Cabin Crew/ Flight Stewardess / Flight Attendant....watever u call it..
I remember i had been try try try and try since my last year or university study.....till now, and had almost attended all interviews that were conduct by airlines that recruite ppl in Malaysia. (except Qatar, Kuwaits Air)
This time, i went for Silkair. It went smoothly through the 1st round (group interview).....and the gals were being asked to go for the uniform fitting test in 2nd round. Similar to SIA kebaya fitting test, the interviewers will look at ur grooming, posture, and "examine" u with their eyes from head to toes. I failed twice in this in previous SIA interviews. Surprisingly, i had make it for this time!! Of i go to the final round of management interview, and eveything went smooth, and i got the email from Silkair asking me to go for the medical checkup.
So....another 2 weeks to go to see whether i pass the medical checkup or not.....
The day after i had finished with the medical checkup, i got a call from Intrepid Travel, saying tat i was offered the job as a Group Leader (12 months contract)....arghhhh.......how to choose? i like both of the job..
IF i am a Group Leader, i'll be leading the BKK- MY-SIN trip, or vice versa. Sound kind of interesting, but i'm not sure will i still feel the same after a yr.
But do i have the capability to lead a group? To be a group leader, i got to be with them through out the whole trips, making decision, manage money.......

Where i had stayed in Bangkok (Part 2)
Bangkok City Suite
A small hotel, this hotel is at the end of Petchaburi Road, next to the ExpressWay entrance. It not that far as i had thought before. Although is far to walk to the nearest BTS station, but is still convenient to me as i don't mind to commute in the local way- by bus. Just a few minutes walk to the nearby bus stop, there are many buses passing by, all heading to Pratunam area; and believe me, those busses are very frequent, not like over here in KL, i sometimes wait till i "fatt for".
Back to the hotel, it cost us about 1100 baht for triple room, WITH buffet breakfast & Wifi in room, i think is worth it. Clean room, clean linen, and a bathtub in the bathroom.
Lub D
I simply just love love love this place! is hip, modern & comfortable. They offer dorms, twin & double room (only this with ensuite bathroom). I come across this place while browsing through hostelworld.com , and the word "Buy 1 nite free 1 nite" caught my attention. (u know la....backpack ma...low budget..sumore gal....is like tat one la..) although not many reviews, but all at the positive side. After browsing Lub D's website, i decided to give it a try. I had a Twin Room for 4 nites at abt 1600 baht.
They got a cozy theather room with 52" LCD TV, complete with hifi system & dvd player; a laundry room (coin operated : washing & drying each 20 baht) ; a book shelfs fill of travel books; FREE WIFI at lobby area.
Take a look at below pics, picture speaks the 1000 words; and also Lub D's website, they elaborate much more better than me.
