What must you have to become a Flight Attendant?

Yes...flight attendants wannabes got to meet certain height requirements, heath requirements, grooming & posture requirements, language requirements.....other than all these...they are still whole lots more that flight attendant wannabes should have, as below:

1) Don't mind to get dirty - crew got to clean toilets (not wash), rubbish ..pick up litters on the floor, and sometimes vomitus !

2) Able to work under stress - stress from the work load, stress from your colleague/superior and also stress from passengers

3) Live your life according to roster - for most airlines, u get your roster a month ahead, meaning that u only know where will you be on certain days only a month before. You can guarantee yourself is off duty on certain days by applying leave, but for that limited days of annual leaves quota, is definitely not enough to cover all the weddings, anniversary, birthdays gathering, family gathering & holiday that you wanna attend.

A female pilot always attract my attentionsssSS...I look up to them. They are the roses among the thorns, and shine out in this male dominating industry!

Be a dory sometimes , like the one in Finding Nemo, have short term memory , so that you can forget unpleasant things about ur work, and start a brand new day the next time!!

Latest SQ interview

Recently SQ had been very active in their recruitment drive. Almost every 2 months there is a walk-in session in KL , SIN,and coming soon in Taiwan & Thailand!

There are a few differences in their interview nowadays as compare to the last time before they stop their recruitment due to bad global economy time.

As usual, they will start with document check. Then you will be group in 10 for height measurement, then wait for group interview.

In group interview, you'll be asked to intro yourself, then answer their 1 question.

If you survive this round, you will be going to the Grooming Check & uniform fitting (for gals).
I heard that in KL session , they will check your skin right next to the window, under the bright morning sun.

Games round & 1-1 interview is next. There will be some cards on a table, where you will be asked to work in team, and finds pairs of cards.
1-1 interview will be more on question regarding your ownself, backgrounds & scenario questions.

If you can survive this....again....another round...the Finale!!

2 to 3 interview. 2 interviewer , 3 candidates. Is about intro yourself again, and also discussion questions.

In interview rounds in Ipoh & Penang, the sequence of rounds are slightly different, and are less crowded!
