Dear all....i am now in LA. My 1st on job training flight....really very nervous, not knowing what to do, where to find things. Let me tell about what i had did.
3 hr 30 min before the departure time (3pm), i have to show my face at the operation center, which is 11.30am.And as usual, i have to prepare myself 1 hr 30 min before. I had briefing & lunch in the operation center, then off we go to airport for boarding.

I was assigned to a jumpseat, next to the most junior crew in the flight, and i observe & learn what she do. 1st thing is to arrange the newspaper, then magazine rack. Soon after that, passenger start boarding.....so welcome passenger. After take off, start giving out headphone and some giveaway items, then towel services.........and lots more to go.
I had the chance to give out the headphone, collecting used cup, giving up 1st meal.....and of coz..cleaning up toilet too!

I had a short rest time after abt 8 hours of depature....is really tiring!! and the most hard things was communication problem. Some passenger speak only korean, or japanese....so i can only always "ma fan" korean crew to help out .

I finally reached LA abt 13 hrs later...and flying back tml midnite...

Jack Of All Trade

I m back!!! yes! i m back.....for 10 days ...wish it could be a longer break time for me. So what have i done last month? I m being trained as a

1) door opener (yes..i need to know the steps to open different aircraft door ),
2) security guard, (we have martial art/self defence class too!)
3) safety guard,
4) 1st aid paramedic, (we learn 1st aid from nurses)
5) evacuation "director"..... (to know what to do incase of evacuation needed)

Is not easy to become a cabin crew. "what differenciate a waitress and a cabin crew is the safety training that a cabin crew need to go through" - i totally agree to this.

That was what i did last month - safety training. Soon i will be in training again for another 1 more month, this time..for service training. Let's see how it will change me....haha!
