Similar to others airlines, they will start with group interview 1st. Abt 8 girls in a group, walk a round infront of interviewers and stand in a row at the marked position. They are 4 interviewers.
For those successful in Round 1, they will be invited to the Final Interview few days later. Final Interview will be the same, and also a english conversation test before u go into the interview room.
Korean Air has the simpliest interview, only ask u to self introduce ,follow by some questions from interviewer, no uniform fitting, no situations question, but they are also the toughest airlines to get in.
I just like the uniform too much!!!

they will have ads in newspaper...normally is around march or april.
If u got a chance to be in other airline, don't choose KE, is not a good place to work in for foreigners, and i hate the uniform now..is not good to work with tat outfit.

Hello, there... since I've attended an interview with Korean Air on 27th March 2010, I'd like to share some stories here...
When I got there, there were lots of girls and young ladies waiting for their turn to be interviewed by the recruiters... there were 3 interviewers, 1 is a senior flight attendant (I can tell from her blue suit) and the other two were Korean men... Yes, we (me and the other candidates) were asked to stand in front of them and then the senior FA did some "checking-ups" to assess whether we got a radiant skin or not, and then she wrote down some stuffs on her memo board (which I didn't know what was it)...
The point is, don't ever apply for that job if you are not sure that you are well-groomed and have fair-radiant skin, because from what I've seen there, the competition was fiery to get the position, so they chose only the best-looks,,, no offense here but it's what I've seen and felt...
Those who have oriental look will get much more benefits than those who don't... I know that this sounds crazy, but I've tried several airline interviews and found out that each airline has different criteria for recruiting new cabin crew and I guess that Korean Air assess from looks first... Oh, and one thing to remember, DON'T apply for the job if u don't meet the min requirement of height which is 162 cm, coz I didn't get that job, and probably it was because I'm only 160 cm of height... sad but true...
anyway, good luck for anyone who wants to be flight attendant... keep on trying ^_^

the interview that u went, is it in KL? sometimes some pax or purser, will comment that crew's skin tone is too dark (referring to foreign crew). If u like flying to the States, then go ahead to try "Kay Ee", coz 90% of the schedule of MY crew, is going to the states, repeating tat few places all yr round.

hiya, i don't think they will take in any SIN crew, more than 10 yrs ago, KE used to have SIN crew, but i heard rumours saying that all of them are not being renew contract later on.

different airlines have their own requirement, some that is not published publicly...just go and try if you r interested, leave it to them to worry whether you are suitable or not, if u try , there is a chance, if u never try, no chance at all!

KA recruits certain nationalities : Malaysian, Mongolian , Indonesian , Chinese, Japanese and Thai. Everytime its time to hold an interview they usually publish an ad on a local daily paper, so the applicants can go ahead and sent them their resumes. If you're selected based on ur resume they'll call you up on an interview. One of my friend works for KA, and i agree with some of the commenters here every airline has their own criteria in selecting suitable candidates, as for KA its all about the image i mean you gotta fit the KA image in terms of looks and character wise too. And at last you must be fluent in english if ur first language is not english,and min 162cm with a radiant skin obviously.
